Table Mountain & Lion Rock Springs

Kittitas County, Washington

Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest

Fees: none

Activity: drive + walking/hiking

Elevation: 3370'-6360'

Current status (as of 1/20/25): not blooming

Notes: Google Maps might tell you to approach Table Mountain from the north via Blewett Pass, but that section of Forest Road 35 is VERY rocky; you might be able to make it, but it won't be pleasant. Approaching from the south up Reecer Creek Road is much easier. (Your car might also not enjoy the short drive up the hill from the Lion Rock Springs camping area to the Lion Rock viewpoints, but it's an easy 1/3-mile walk.)

Peak wildflower bloom on Table Mountain & Lion Rock Springs is typically from early June through mid-July, but there may be some flowers blooming from early May until early August.*

Typical year:

Featured plants: Delphinium multiplex
