There are a few different areas to explore in the Soda Springs Unit of Klickitat Wildlife Area: you can drive out on South Breaks Road and walk or bike out to a view over the Klickitat River Canyon; you can park at Canyon Creek Campground and check out Canyon Creek's canyon; or you can drive down to the river and hike up Leidl Ridge, which has its own entry in this site.
Peak wildflower bloom at Soda Springs Wildlife Area is typically from early April through the end of May, but there may be some flowers blooming from mid-March until mid-June.*
