One of the few peaks in the North Cascades with a relatively high-elevation trailhead. If you only visit Sauk Mountain, it's less than 4 miles round-trip; you can add on Sauk Lake if you want a longer outing.
Peak wildflower bloom on Sauk Mountain & Sauk Lake is typically from late June through July into late August, but there may be some flowers blooming from early June until early September.*
