Potter Mountain

Douglas County, Oregon

Umpqua National Forest

Fees: none

Activity: hiking

Elevation: 5700'-6072'

Current status (as of 6/3/23): not blooming

Peak wildflower bloom on Potter Mountain is typically from mid-June through the end of July, but there may be some flowers blooming from late May until late August.* (In 2023, things are running a little later than usual.)

Typical year:

This is an off-trail scramble. (Possibly still closed due to the 2022 Potter Fire, which burned 600+ acres to the east of Potter Mountain but seems to have left the summit ridge unscathed.)
