Mt. Rainier National Park
Fees: National Park Service & timed-entry reservation
Activity: hiking
Elevation: 5420'-7040'
Current status (as of 1/22/25): not blooming
Notes: This is one of the premier wildflower hikes in the country. There's an extensive trail network, so you can create your own hiking loop of pretty much any length. (Due to overcrowding, you now have to get a timed-entry reservation to drive up to Paradise in the summer — or arrive before 7:00am or after 3:00pm.)
Peak wildflower bloom at Paradise is typically from mid-July through the end of August, but there may be some flowers blooming from early July until mid-September.*
