Notes: The Forest Service recommends a driving route through this area that they call the "Paulina District Scabland Tour." You can easily combine this with a trip to Big Summit Prairie and/or Lookout Mountain.

Peak wildflower bloom at Little Summit Prairie is typically from early May through June into early July, but there may be some flowers blooming from late April until late July.*
