Notes: The road to Johnston Ridge Observatory is closed due to a landslide on Spirit Lake Highway (SR 504) in May 2023, and probably will not re-open until 2027. (It's still possible to walk up to Johnston Ridge from the Hummocks Trailhead, but it's a long hike.)

Peak wildflower bloom on Johnston Ridge is typically from early June through July into early August, but there may be some flowers blooming from late May until late August.*
