Historic Columbia River Highway State Trail

Hood River & Wasco Counties, Oregon

Oregon State Parks & USFS

Fees: Oregon State Parks

Activity: walking + biking

Elevation: 200'-530'

Current status (as of 11/17/24): not blooming

Notes: The day-use fee applies if you park at either of the official Mark. O. Hatfield trailheads; you can avoid the fee by parking in the town of Mosier, which adds up to a mile each way. (This is probably a more appealing option when biking rather than walking.)

Peak wildflower bloom on the Historic Columbia River Highway State Trail is typically from early April through the end of May, but there may be some flowers blooming from early March until late June.*
