Fuji Mountain

Lane County, Oregon

Willamette National Forest

Fees: none

Activity: hiking

Elevation: 6182'-7144'

Current status (as of 6/8/23): not blooming

Peak wildflower bloom on Fuji Mountain is typically from mid-June through the end of July, but there may be some flowers blooming from late May until late August.* (In 2023, things are running a little later than usual.)

Typical year:

The Fuji Mountain trail is open, but the usual trailhead (on Forest Road 5883) is still closed due to the 2022 Cedar Creek Fire. You can still reach the top of Fuji from Gold Lake, but it's more than 5 miles each way.
