Notes: Coffin Mountain is famous for its occasional (and completely unpredictable) "superblooms" of beargrass. While you're in the neighborhood, you may as well hike nearby Bachelor Mountain too.

Peak wildflower bloom on Coffin Mountain is typically from mid-June through the end of July, but there may be some flowers blooming from late May until late August.*
