Catherine Creek

Klickitat County, Washington

Columbia River Gorge NSA

Fees: none

Activity: walking + hiking

Elevation: 170'-1500'

Current status (as of 4/25/24): blooming

Notes: A long season, tons of wildflower diversity, and an easy paved trail — in addition to an extensive network of normal hiking and mountain bike trails that connect to The Labyrinth and Coyote Wall. In wildflower season, do not expect solitude.

Peak wildflower bloom at Catherine Creek is typically from early March through April into late May, but there may be some flowers blooming from mid-February until mid-June.* (In 2024, things are running a little later than usual.)
