Notes: The Ancient Lakes/Dusty Lake area is criss-crossed by a LOT of trails — official and otherwise — and there are at least three different trailheads you can start from, so you can choose your own adventure. Watch out for rattlesnakes.

Peak wildflower bloom at Ancient Lakes is typically from early April through the end of May, but there may be some flowers blooming from mid-March until mid-June.*
