Discussion

Western United States. 5 subspecies; 2 subspecies treated in Flora.

Shady slopes and canyons, pinyon-juniper and oak-woodland communities, streamsides, riverbanks. Flowering May–Jul. 300–1600 m. BW, Lava. Native. Endemic.

This Oregon endemic is currently known only from Baker, Grant, and Wheeler counties.
