Discussion | Dry forests. 100–2200 m. BR, BW, Col, ECas. CA, ID, NV, WA; north to British Columbia, northeast to MT, south to Mexico. Native. The morphological characteristics separating our two varieties are sometimes unreliable. This unsatisfactorily forces the identifer to use geography as the determining “character.” More taxonomic study may be warranted. |
