Coniferous forest, shrublands, grasslands, rocky cliffs, talus, roadsides, edges of cultivated fields. Flowering May–Aug. 0–1600 m. Casc, CR, ECas, Est, Sisk, WV. WA; north to British Columbia. Native. Plants of this variety were earlier referred to variety lanatum. |
