Discussion | Tephrosia angustissima is known from Brevard and Miami-Dade counties. Tephrosia angustissima, T. corallicola, and T. curtissii have been regarded as distinct species (L. H. Shinners 1962e; R. W. Long and O. Lakela 1967); D. Isely (1982, 1998) considered them a single species. These three taxa are sympatric with apparently few, if any, morphological intermediates. They are part of the T. purpurea complex (see discussion under 14. T. tenella). (Discussion copyrighted by Flora of North America; reprinted with permission.) |
