Habit | Perennials; caudex simple or branched, (covered with persistent leaf bases, loosely cespitose); densely pubescent, trichomes (appressed to ascending, plant appearing shaggy, always appressed on fruits), 4- or 5-rayed, rays furcate or bifurcate, (tuberculate throughout). |
