cymose, overtopping leaves;

Flowers

sepals deciduous, orbiculate to ovate, to 3 mm;

petals pale to bright rose or purplish red, elliptic to obovate, to 10 mm;

stamens 20–30;

stigma 1, subcapitate.

Capsules
