| Discussion | Subspecies 2 (2 in the flora). Plants of Perideridia parishii greatly resemble those of P. lemmonii; the only consistent distinction between them is that mericarps of P. parishii have 3 or 4 oil ducts in the intervals and 6 on the commissure whereas those of P. lemmonii have 1 in the intervals and 2 on the commissure.
