San Bernardino ragwort

Habit Perennials, 20–50+ cm; stoloniferous and rhizomatous (rhizomes horizontal to suberect). Perennials, 15–30+ cm; fibrous-rooted (caudices branched, erect to suberect).

Packera obovata forms relatively large, stoloniferous colonies in wet sites.

Packera bernardina is known only from the San Bernardino Mountains and has been collected most frequently from Bear Valley.
