Marina diffusa

diffusa is known from the Patagonia Mountains of southeastern Arizona and in western Mexico south to Guatemala.;

marina diffusa is unlike other species of Marina and Dalea in the flora area by having its racemes grouped into diffuse panicles.
Variety

radiolata Barneby occurs in Nayarit, Mexico.

(1977b) assigned Guatemalan material to var. diffusa and said it needs study.
