Discussion | Hybridization of Lespedeza leptostachya with L. capitata has been documented (J. B. Fant et al. 2010). Lespedeza leptostachya is in the Center for Plant Conservation’s National Collection of Endangered Plants. (Discussion copyrighted by Flora of North America; reprinted with permission.) |
Lespedeza procumbens forms natural hybrids with L. angustifolia, L. frutescens, L. hirta, L. repens, L. stuevei, and L. virginica. Hybrids with L. virginica have been named L. × brittonii E. P. Bicknell and L. procumbens var. elliptica S. F. Blake. (Discussion copyrighted by Flora of North America; reprinted with permission.) |
