Discussion | Some individuals of Lechea stricta can be difficult to determine with certainty; the extremes of variation of L. stricta often grade into that of L. intermedia and L. pulchella. (Discussion copyrighted by Flora of North America; reprinted with permission.) |
Varieties 3 (3 in the flora). Intergradation among the varieties of Lechea pulchella in areas of overlap is common (B. A. Sorrie and A. S. Weakley 2007b). Some authors (K. Barringer 2004; R. L. Wilbur 1966) have not recognized infraspecific taxa. (Discussion copyrighted by Flora of North America; reprinted with permission.) |
