petals oblanceolate, (slightly longer than sepals, apex obtuse);

stamens (erect), slightly tetradynamous;

filaments not dilated basally;

anthers ovate or broadly so, (apex obtuse);

nectar glands lateral, semiannular, intrastaminal, median glands present (smaller, distinct).

Fruiting pedicels

(2–)4–15(–22), straight, (15–)25–110(–130) mm.

ascending or erect, slender.

Fruits

(0.5–)0.6–0.9(–1) cm (slightly longer than wide);

valves rounded at each end;

style subconical, 0.3–0.8 mm.

sessile or, rarely, stipitate, orbicular or orbicular-ovate, smooth, strongly latiseptate;

valves not veined or obscurely veined;

replum slightly flattened;

septum complete, (hyaline);

stigma capitate.

Seeds

strongly compressed, 3.5–5 mm diam., coarsely reticulate (except for wing);

wing 0.8–1.2 mm wide.

seed coat (coarsely reticulate at center), not mucilaginous when wetted;

cotyledons accumbent.
