Robinson's hawkweed

Habit Plants 30–75(–200) cm. Plants 10–35+ cm.

proximally piloso-hirsute (hairs 6–15+ mm), distally piloso-hirsute (hairs 3–10+ mm), sometimes stellate-pubescent as well.

blades (often purple-mottled) oblong to lanceolate, 20–80 × 7–20+ mm, lengths 3–4 times widths, bases cuneate, margins usually dentate, sometimes entire, apices acute to acuminate, abaxial faces glabrous or piloso-hirsute (especially midribs), adaxial glabrous or stellate-pubescent.

Peduncles

stellate-pubescent and stipitate-glandular, sometimes piloso-hirsute as well.
