Mediterranean broom

Habit Shrubs 1–2.5 m. Stems densely sericeous, hairs yellow-brown.
Leaves

petiolate;

stipules 1–6(–10) mm;

petiole 1–5 mm;

leaflets 3, blades linear to narrowly elliptic, 15–60 mm, base attenuate, margins revolute, apex acuminate, surfaces densely pubescent abaxially, sparsely white-pannose adaxially.

bracts 1–2 mm.

Pedicels

2–7 mm.

Flowers

calyx 5–15 mm, densely floccose;
