Habit Trees, to 30 m; trunk reddish brown, rough; bark persistent, deeply furrowed, soft, spongy, fibrous, rough on small branches.

Discussion

Eucalyptus robusta is known from Los Angeles, Monterey, Orange, San Diego, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Santa Cruz, and Ventura counties in California, and from Charlotte, Lee, Martin, and St. Lucie counties in Florida.
