usually papilionaceous, sometimes apetalous or only banner present;

calyx campanulate, tube 10-ribbed, lobes 5;

corolla absent or vestigial banner present [petals 5], yellow;

stamens [9]10, monadelphous;

anthers dorsifixed.

Fruits

legumes, sessile, somewhat compressed, obovoid-ellipsoid, indehiscent, scattered glands present, strigulose.
