Gilman's evening primrose

Habit Herbs compact, villous throughout and sparsely glandular puberulent. Herbs with open habit, glandular puberulent throughout, usually also sparsely villous, or glabrate with few glandular hairs.

Discussion

Subspecies kernensis is known only from northeastern Kern County where it is sometimes locally abundant.
