Discussion | Variety peabodianus occurs in entrenched channels affluent to both the Colorado and Green rivers along the southern and western flanks of the East Tavaputs Plateau in Emery and Grand counties; it is perhaps a connecting link between var. pubentissimus and Astragalus pardalinus.
