Discussion

Variety peabodianus occurs in entrenched channels affluent to both the Colorado and Green rivers along the southern and western flanks of the East Tavaputs Plateau in Emery and Grand counties; it is perhaps a connecting link between var. pubentissimus and Astragalus pardalinus.
