corolla pink-purple and wing tips white or whitish (bicolored).

subsymmetric, ellipsoid, (25–)35–55(–63) mm, sutures convexly arched, sometimes less strongly so ventrally;

gynophore 10–11 mm.

Discussion

Variety lonchocalyx is restricted to eastern Lincoln County, Nevada, and western Beaver and Iron counties, Utah.
