prostrate, to 1 m, viscid, hairs glandular-crisp-pubescent.

Leaves

0.5–2.5 cm;

stipules attached at base, 2–4 × 1.5–2 mm, apex acute;

leaflets 5–9, blades 1-veined, slightly asymmetric, obovate, 4–10(–18) × 3–7(–10) mm, margins ciliate-denticulate, apex obtuse, surfaces glabrous or subglabrous, slightly subappressed-puberulent or glabrous adaxially.

Inflorescences

1–8-flowered, racemes, axis glandular-hispidulous.

Flowers

calyx 2.5–3.5 mm, not bilabiate, lobes subequal, hispidulous, margins ciliate;

corolla usually yellow, sometimes orangish with reddish venation, 5–7 mm, banner pubescent abaxially;

gynophore 1–3(–5) mm, continuous with proximal segment, subglabrous.

Seeds

light brown, 2–3 × 2 mm.

Loments

abaxial margin deeply indented, adaxial margin ± straight, sutures between segments well developed, margins not separating from valves;

segments 2 or 3(–5), semiglobose, 3.5–5 × 4.5 mm, reticulate venation slightly to moderately conspicuous, sometimes obscured by pubescence, center of each not muricate or verrucose, faces densely white-tomentose, usually viscid-hispid, terminal segment rarely glabrous.
