Identification notes Achene 3-angled, black, smooth, shining, 2.5 mm. long, ovate in outline but tapered at both ends.
Flowering time June-July June-August
Habitat Vernal pools, seasonally damp ground at low elevations. Dry to moist banks and flats, from sagebrush plains to lower mountains, often with ponderosa pine.
Distribution
Occurring in the east end of the Columbia River Gorge in Washington; south-central Washington to California.
