Habitat Sea level to open meadows and forested areas in the mountains, always where moist. Lowland to montane rocky banks, forested slopes, and disturbed areas.
Distribution
Occurring on both sides of the Cascades crest in Washington; Alaska to California, east across most of North America to the Atlantic Coast.
