Greene's goldenweed, Greene's heath goldenweed
Habit Small branching shrub, 10-30 cm. tall. Twigs initially green turning red to brown.
Leaves

Leaves numerous, oblanceolate to spatulate, 1.5-3.5 cm. long and 2-7 mm. wide, straight.
Flowers

Heads clustered at the ends of twigs;

involucre narrow, 8-12 mm. high, its narrow bracts sub-equal, nearly green throughout;

rays 1-7, 8-15 mm. long, yellow;

disk flowers 7-20, 7.5-11 mm. long, yellow.
Fruits

Achenes elongate, flattened, about 2 mm. long with white, bristly pappus.
