involucre narrow, 5-8 mm. high, its bracts strongly imbricate, usually chartaceous throughout, often reflexed;

flowers white to pale yellow;

ray flowers 3-7, 3-6 mm. long;

disk flowers about 13, 5-7.5 mm. long, the lobes 1-2 mm. long.
