Distribution | ||
Discussion | Margins of saline or alkaline areas. Flowering Apr–Sep. 50–1400 m. BR. CA, NV; southeast to LA, south to Mexico; South America. Native. In Oregon, S. verrucosum is only known from desert alkali playas (except for one 1902 collection from ballast in Portland). However, in other regions the species can be found in coastal, saline wetlands. Further taxonomic investigation is needed. |
