Schoenoplectus tabernaemontani hybridizes with S. acutus, S. californicus S. glaucus, S. heterochaetus, and S. triqueter. Hybrids tend to be fertile. Yellow-striped forms of S. tabernaemontani are cultivated as ornamentals. |
