Discussion

Creek banks, mesic meadows, woods, swamps. Flowering Apr–Aug. 0–2300 m. Throughout Oregon. CA, ID, NV, WA; throughout Canada and US, south to northwestern Mexico. Native.

Near streams and bogs, damp woods under trees. Flowering May–Jul. 0–1300 m. Casc, CR, Est, Sisk, WV. CA, ID, WA; north to AK. Native.
