Discussion | Rocky cliffs, ridge tops, talus, streambanks, roadsides, serpentine. Flowering May–Aug. 0–1700 m. CR, Sisk. CA, WA; north to British Columbia. Native. The frequent occurrence of L. hypoleuca in crevices of rock cliffs is facilitated by its deep-seated taproots or taproot-like rhizomes. |
