Flowers | yellow-white to cream; rose-tinged on back, with green to purple veins; tepals distinct, spreading, sometimes slightly recurved, oblong, 0.8–1.3 cm long. |

Discussion | Rocky slopes. Flowering Jul–Aug. 1900–2900m. BR, BW. ID, NV, WA; north to AK, southeast to NM; Eurasia. Native. In Oregon, G. serotina is known only from a few mountainous, rocky locations. |
