Discussion | Roadsides, open coniferous and mixed evergreen forests. Flowering May–Jul. 1400–1800 m. Sisk. CA. Native. Lathyrus tracyi includes both ovate- and linear-leafleted forms. Linear-leafleted populations certainly suggest a relationship to L. lanszwertii, but ovate-leafleted forms, the presence of mid-stem branching, and floral structure suggest that L. tracyi may be better allied to L. holochlorus found to the north in the Willamette Valley. |
