Discussion | Glyptopleura marginata and G. setulosa (not in Oregon) were earlier considered varieties of a single species. However, they differ consistently in length of florets, those of G. setulosa being much showier and long-exserted, and perhaps therefore in breeding system as well. Recent references place them as distinct species, G. marginata having the wider range of the two. |
