surfaces woolly-pubescent, or adaxially glabrate and green, sessile or petiolate.

cauline, usually opposite; upper sometimes alternate, lanceolate or oblanceolate to linear, bases auriculate-clasping;

margins usually pinnately toothed or lobed, rarely entire;

tips acute;

surfaces usually somewhat woolly, sessile or petiolate.

Inflorescences

raceme- or panicle-like arrays, or heads solitary.

Involucres

3–11 mm.

campanulate or hemispheric, 3–12+ mm in diameter.

Receptacles

flat to columnar;

corollas 5–20 mm, yellow.
