Discussion

Rocky areas, sagebrush, juniper forests. Flowering May–Jul. 200–2500 m. BR, BW, Col, ECas, Lava, Owy. CA, ID, NV, WA; north to British Columbia, northeast to MT, east to WY, southeast to UT. Native.
