Stems

15–20 cm long, flexuous.

Leaves

basal leaves to 30 cm long, with short hairs in lines on adaxial surface, persistent.

Inflorescences

1–5-flowered.

Flowers

sepals to 25 mm long;

petals to 25 mm long, densely covered with long simple white hairs approximately 50% way to nectary where hairs become yellow;

margins somewhat fringed;

petal claw with fine penciling/spots (nectary guides);

nectary lunate, crested with branching hairs;

filaments to 7 mm long;

anthers 3–7 mm long; reddish brown, apiculate.

Fruits

nodding, 3–4 × approximately 1.5 cm, with a long recurved tip approximately 4 mm, 3 winged.

Seeds

light straw-yellow.
